Join the Michigan Ballet Academy students as they present the beloved romantic ballet, The Sleeping Beauty. Based on the timeless fairytale by Charles Perrault and performed to Tchaikovsky's celebrated score, The Sleeping Beauty features lavish costumes and a host of magical characters. Cursed at her birth by the evil Carabosse Fairy, the beautiful Princess Aurora and her kingdom must slumber for a hundred years awaiting the power of true love’s kiss. This story ballet, filled with magical woodland fairies and fairytale characters is a must see for the entire family!

You are invited to a Tea Party with Princess Aurora, the Lilac Fairy, and a host of characters from The Sleeping Beauty!

Please join us on Sunday, April 19, 2020 at 1:00 P.M for Princess Aurora’s Tea Party at the Jenison Center For the Arts. Enjoy a delicious lunch, special ballet-themed desserts, lemonade/tea, a beautiful craft activity, story-telling, photographs with the dancers in costume, and wonderful door prizes!

Tickets are $20 for adults and $20 for children.

For an even more magical experience, add Princess Aurora’s Meet and Greet to your Sleeping Beauty tickets! Head onstage Saturday, April 18, 2020 after the 4:30 pm show and meet Princess Aurora, the Lilac Fairy and other special friends. Bring your program for autographs and your camera for photographs!
