The Lost Boat Ceremony recognizes the subs and sailors that were lost in WWII. It begins with a fly-by of vintage aircraft, all branches of the military are honored and recognized. it is patriotic, motivating, and inspirational. An area ensemble provides music throughout the program, an area veteran will give our keynote speech, and to conclude the ceremony, two of four of the engines are started. The ceremony begins at 11:00 a.m. and runs until approximately 12:30 p.m. The museum and tours of both vessels are free all day.
