At 40,000+ sq. ft. of Show Space, the Kalamazoo Rock and Mineral Show is one of the largest and best attended rock shows in Michigan. 2019 is the Society’s 60th Show - both a celebration and a tribute to the Rock & Mineral hobby. Show lecturers include - Steve Arnold (Meteorite Men) , Krystle (Dorris) Dinkel (Prospectors) and Paleo Joe. Learn about geology through the many KGMS members’ displays; hands on educational activities provided by Western Michigan University, Kingman Museum and many others.play a game, polish a Petoskey stone, crack open a geode; all this and more can be done at the Show.
