Tibbits Opera House is excited to welcome shoppers and deal hunters of all kinds to the historic venue during Apple Fest on Saturday, September 19 as they host Tibbits’ Trinkets & Treasures as part of the festivities surrounding the Tibbits 47th Annual Auction. The theme for this year’s auction is “Diamonds & Denim.”
The auction is Tibbits largest yearly fundraiser and the Trinkets & Treasures sale is a new addition. Trinkets & Treasures will be held on Saturday, September 19, from 9:00 am to 3:00pm, featuring a wide variety of donated treasures, collectibles and everyday finds from the community. The auction will be held on Saturday, November 7, with a special Gala Dinner starting at 5:30pm, and a live auction with entertainment from Dueling Pianos International starting at 7:30pm. Ticketing information for both events on November 7 will be available at Tibbits.org.
Tibbits’ Trinkets & Treasures is currently seeking donations of new and gently used items such as collectibles large and small, framed artwork, everyday items and much more. Tibbits staff will price the items and have them laid out at the sale throughout the theatre.
At Trinkets & Treasures, raffle tickets for the large raffle drawing will be available to purchase. The cost is $10 per raffle ticket with 500 printed. First prize is $1,000, second prize is two Tibbits Summer Theatre 2027 Season Tickets and third prize is $250. The raffle drawing will be held on November 7.
All proceeds for raffle tickets and Tibbits’ Treasures & Trinkets purchases will benefit Tibbits Opera Foundation and Arts Council, Inc. No ticket is necessary to attend the sale. Concessions will be open at the theatre throughout the event.
