Tibbits Opera House is excited to once again welcome shoppers and deal hunters of all kinds to the historic venue on Friday, September 25 and Saturday, September 26 as they host an extension of the Trinkets & Treasures sale originally held during Apple Fest. Tibbits’ Trinkets & Treasures is part of the festivities surrounding the Tibbits 47th Annual Auction. The theme for this year’s auction is “Diamonds & Denim.”
The auction is Tibbits largest yearly fundraiser and the Trinkets & Treasures sale is a new addition. Trinkets & Treasures will be held at Tibbits Opera House on Friday, September 25 from 10am to 7pm and Saturday, September 26 from 10am to 1pm. The sale features a wide variety of donated treasures, collectibles and everyday finds from the community. The Ghost Light Bar will open from 4pm to 7pm on Friday, September 25 for shoppers to enjoy drinks while perusing the sale.
The auction will be held on Saturday, November 7, with a special Gala Dinner starting at 5:30pm, and a live auction with entertainment from Dueling Pianos International starting at 7:30pm. Ticketing information for both events on November 7 will be available at Tibbits.org.
At Trinkets & Treasures, raffle tickets for the large raffle drawing will be available to purchase. The cost is $10 per raffle ticket with 500 printed. First prize is $1,000, second prize is two Tibbits Summer Theatre 2027 Season Tickets and third prize is $250. The raffle drawing will be held on November 7.
All proceeds for raffle tickets and Tibbits’ Treasures & Trinkets purchases will benefit Tibbits Opera Foundation and Arts Council, Inc. No ticket is necessary to attend the sale. The sale is located at 14 S. Hanchett Street, Coldwater, Michigan.
