MI Maritime Museum Blessing of the Fleet FIsh Fry: May 24,, 5:00 - 7:30 p.m
Here’s something really special for your Friday night. The Michigan Maritime Museum kicks off the summer season with their annual Blessing of the Fleet ceremony. The tall ship Friends Good Will, as well as other museum vessels and a variety of South Haven harbor boats will take part in these special ceremonies promoting another safe and successful season. Then venture over to the waterfront for a delicious perch fish fry and enjoy being serenaded by the music of Great Lakes folk singer Lee Murdock. His traditional songs incorporate aspects of life history during the sailing era of the Great Lakes, which come to life when surrounded by the beautiful water views along the museum docks. Fleets, fish and fries - always a good combo.
