The Young Collectors Club is for Anyone Wanting to Start Their Own Art Collection
The Muskegon Museum of Art is excited to launch their Young Collectors Club (YCC), a community open to anyone wanting to start their own art collection. The club will serve as not only a resource, but a third-space for members to socialize, collaborate, and learn about art together.
Benefits of joining the club include fun quarterly meetings to learn more about collecting from local and national art collectors, artists, and art professionals; field trips to artist studios, auction houses, galleries, and art institutions; access to worksheets and resources to help build and show off your collection; early access to exhibitions like The Michigan Contemporary Art Exhibition and The Bennett Prize Exhibition; private tours; exclusive artist talks; and more!
The only requirements to join the Young Collectors Club include having an active membership at the MMA, pledging to purchase at least one artwork per year at any price, and being near the ages of 18-40, though no one will be turned away due to age.
Those interested are invited to join The Muskegon Museum of Art for a Young Collectors Club Info Session on October 29 from 6 – 7 PM. Meet up with others curious about joining the YCC while learning more about everything the club entails. If you like what you’re hearing, you can also join the club and save the date for the first official YCC Event coming this November.
No memberships or commitments are needed to attend the info session. This event is free and open to the public! Informational Session Details:
