The Michigan State University Extension is pleased to present their final Smart Gardening Presentation at Windmill Island Gardens this Fall about various types of Bulbs! This evening class will be paired with popcorn and cider, and will be held rain or shine inside the Celebration Pavilion, or inside the Posthouse if weather requires, from 6:00pm – 7:30pm on Wednesday, October 9. The class has a $10 fee that helps fund the Smart Pollinator Garden maintained by the MSU Extension and MSU Extension Master Gardener Volunteers. The pollinator garden showcases a plethora of blooming plants that entice and nurture pollinators all season long. Explore and enjoy this educational display located at Windmill Island Gardens.
On Wednesday, October 9, you can join the MSU Extension and retired Senior Horticulture Educator, Rebecca Finneran, for their final Smart Gardening Presentation to learn all about a plethora of bulbs available to gardeners today! Finneran will discuss both native and exotic bulb options that can add cheerful color and interesting textures to your garden throughout the seasons. You’ll even get a free bulb to plant in your garden at the end of this class! The deadline to register for this class is Monday, October 7.
