The Hackley and Hume Houses, built in the late 1880s, give modern spectators insight into the art, decor, and lifestyle of the Hackley and Hume families, prominent lumber barons, and esteemed members of their era. This historic site provides Muskegon residents with a window into the lives of a local affluent family from the post-lumbering era. Architect David S. Hopkins designed both houses for Charles H. Hackley and Thomas Hume and their families. Today, these homes have been meticulously restored to their original 1890s glory.

Limited spots are available, so secure your tickets promptly! Tickets are priced at $15 and can be conveniently purchased online here. Please arrive on time to ensure the tour starts promptly.
