Mark your calendars, set your alarms, and grab your coffee to go for the annual Downtown Holland Shopping Jam this coming Saturday, December 14 from 8:00 am – 11:00 am! Over 45 Downtown Holland clothing boutiques, gift shops, specialty stores, and more will open two hours early this Saturday for this once-a-year holiday savings event. And the best part? The earlier you shop, the more you save on all of the gifts on your list!
“The Shopping Jam is our last holiday shopping event of the season in Downtown Holland and it’s always one of our most popular promotions,” said Downtown Holland Marketing Coordinator Kara de Alvare, “With some stores offering discounts of 30% off first thing Saturday morning, this is definitely a holiday sale you can’t afford to miss!”
Whether you’re just starting your holiday shopping or need one last gift to finish off your list, shoppers can save big during the early morning Shopping Jam, which has been expanded this year to include an additional hour of discounts! From 8:00 am – 9:00 am, customers can save 30% off at least one item at participating businesses, from 9:00 am – 10:00 am they can save 25% off at least one item, and from 10:00 am – 11:00 am, they can save 20% off at least one item. Savings details and exclusions vary by business.

Heading to Downtown Holland to do a little holiday shopping this season? Word from the North Pole is that you might just spy Santa doing a little local shopping of his own! Santa Claus will be strolling Downtown Holland every Saturday afternoon in December visiting his favorite shops and restaurants, greeting his fans of all ages, posing for photographs, and bringing a little magic to your holiday shopping experience. Be sure to say hello if you spot him out and about!

Visit the Holland Farmers Market all November and December long to shop for fresh produce, meat, eggs, honey, maple syrup, jam, baked goods, specialty foods and more! And decorate your home with fresh greenery, porch pots, festive wreaths from our local vendors. Make the Market your destination for all things Michigan-grown this holiday season! The Market is open every Wednesday and Saturday in November from 9:00 am – 1:00 pm and on Saturdays in December through December 21. On select Saturdays, the Market will be joined by the Holland Kerstmarkt, a European style outdoor Market where local artisans offer unique gifts, holiday décor, home baked goods, and more.
