Peculiar, unusual, and mysterious! The Grand Rapids Downtown Market is inviting the community to discover the wonderfully weird at the Merchants of the Macabre Oddities Market on Saturday, October 24, from 10am to 6pm.
Taking over the outdoor Market Shed, this one-day event will bring together more than 50 vendors offering an assortment of oddities, curiosities, and unusual finds.
Guests can explore everything from taxidermy and skeletal specimens to tarot cards, art prints, handcrafted jewelry, and more. Whether searching for a one-of-a-kind piece or simply curious to see what's out there, visitors will find plenty of peculiar treasures throughout the Market Shed.

An annual favorite at the Downtown Market, Merchants of the Macabre celebrates the unusual and unexpected, offering a distinctive shopping experience that fits right into the spirit of the season.
The event will also feature live music from local artist Mar in Color from 11:30am to 5:30pm. Guests can enjoy a beverage from the outdoor Market Bar while browsing the unique collection of vendors and makers.
In addition to the outdoor event, visitors can head inside the Market Hall to enjoy food, drinks, and treats from the Downtown Market's 21 artisan food merchants and restaurants. Guests can also take advantage of Fall Flavors at the Market, featuring seasonal food and drink specials available throughout the month of October.
