With this week's opening of the Acrisure Amphitheater, downtown Grand Rapids is becoming an even bigger destination for concerts, nightlife, dining, and community events. The Grand Rapids Downtown Market is inviting concertgoers to make the most of their night downtown and Park It at the Market, an easy and convenient way to enjoy dinner, drinks, and experiences before heading to the Acrisure Amphitheater.
Located just a half mile from the amphitheater, the Market offers more than 480 parking spots between its main lot and surrounding parking areas, giving guests a simple, stress-free place to park before a show. From there, it’s an easy 10 to 15 minute walk through downtown Grand Rapids to the venue. The Downtown Market parking lot will continue to keep its traditional parking rates and not transition to event parking rates.
More than a parking lot, the Market is giving concertgoers the opportunity to start the night early as they shop, stroll, and sip through 21 merchant offerings. Guests can grab dinner, enjoy happy hour specials, sip cocktails or mocktails, or take advantage of rotating daily features offered throughout the week.
Some Market Hall merchants are also offering exclusive amphitheater-related specials for those who start their evening at the Market, like 20% off food items, beverage specials, and snack deals.
