Forget traditional races, Boyne Mountain Resort is again hosting the ultimate off-road challenge as the 2025 Dirty Dog Dash returns on Saturday, May 31.  This mud-splattered 5K adventure transforms the mountain into an obstacle-laden playground where participants climb, crawl, wade, and slide through challenges designed to push limits and create unforgettable, mud-soaked memories.

"The Dirty Dog Dash completely reimagines what a 5K can be," said Kari Roder, marketing director at Boyne Mountain Resort.  "This isn't just about posting your best time – it's about conquering obstacles, laughing your way through mud pits, and finishing with a smile on your face."

Celebrating the Spirit of Adventure:

Participants will navigate five kilometers of Boyne Mountain's challenging landscape, encountering a series of 20 over-the-top obstacles.  True to its unconventional nature, Dirty Dog Dash celebrates more than just speed. While the top three finishers in each division will receive recognition and prizes, special awards will also honor the most creative costumes, teams with outstanding spirit, and participants who fully embrace the muddy festivities.  The adventure culminates in a post-race celebration featuring live music, a mountain-sized cookout, and refreshing beverages.
