Destination Development Applications Open Now
Destination Development Grants through the MPACVB are now open!
The Mt. Pleasant Area Convention and Visitors Bureau (MPACVB) is excited to announce their Destination Development Grant applications are now open for 2025 applications until September 1. The MPACVB encourages and supports the development of the area’s attractions, events, amenities, hospitality services, and other related tourism projects.
The MPACVB primarily focuses on projects that support sports tourism and general community support that have the capability to generate visitors, related or new spending, or a higher quality of place. Eligible applicants are not-for-profit, association/groups and governmental entities at the municipal, district, township, county or regional level. Past funded projects include helping fund the Isabella County Parks and Recreation Chippewa River erosion & canoe launch project, funding public restrooms in town center, purchasing new volleyball equipment at Morey Courts, supporting community events like Art Reach of Mid-Michigan’s Paint the Pavement, and more.

“We are happy to continue to invest in our community, especially through Destination Development. Since 2019, we have invested more than $424,000 back into the community and look for more opportunities every year,” said Chris Rowley, Executive Director, of the MPACVB.
