Legacy Water Sports and Marina has opened a new Torch Lake location at 10520 Coy St in Alden (formerly Alden Outfitters) and is now offering surf boats and pontoon boat rentals, along with a fully stocked lake life pro shop featuring apparel, accessories and summer essentials for your days on the water. Also providing delivery service to Torch Lake and surrounding local lakes, making it even easier to get out and enjoy northern Michigan this summer. Open daily from 10am to 6pm. (231-489-1033)
Legacy also operates a full-service marina and year-round retail pro shop at 4075 M-75 in downtown Walloon Lake, offering sales, service, storage, detailing and rentals, in addition to boat rentals, fuel services, and seasonal slips at Bay Marina on Lake Charlevoix. All Legacy properties are owned by Jonathan and Mary Kay Borisch, who are also the developers of Barrel Back Restaurant, Walloon Lake Inn, Hotel Walloon, The Talcott, The Renwick and the Walloon Village General Store.
