The W.K. Kellogg Bird Sanctuary will host seven local artists and artisans during the annual
Arts and Eats Tour weekend, set for Saturday and Sunday, Oct. 18-19. During Arts and Eats, the Sanctuary
offers free admission during operating hours, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The annual Arts and Eats Tour, organized by the Thornapple Arts Council of Barry County, is a yearly, self-
guided driving tour around southwest Michigan. Stops include farms, restaurants, art galleries and three central venues that host exhibits from multiple artists. In addition to the Kellogg Bird Sanctuary, central venues for the
2025 tour also include the Richland Area Community Center and St. Timothy’s Episcopal Church.

The Sanctuary also will welcome back the Kids Makers Market again this year, on Saturday, Oct. 18. The Kids
Makers Market provides young entrepreneurs, ages 6-17, an opportunity to promote and showcase their
businesses.
