Members receive discounted tickets to the popular Grand Rapids Lantern Festival, unlimited free admission to the Zoo and 20% off food, beverages and gift shop purchases. They also have early access and discounts to camps, birthday parties and other activities.
Memberships support the Zoo’s conservation work to preserve wildlife and wild places locally and around the world. John Ball Zoo is accredited by the Association of Zoos & Aquariums for reaching its high standards of animal care, and memberships help the Zoo provide this care to more than 2,000 animals. Funding also goes toward educational programming at John Ball Zoo, which reaches nearly 59,000 children each year through on-site programs and partnerships with local schools. Members also receive discounts at other zoos, aquariums and museums.
