The 9th Annual Jeep the Mac event will look a little bit different this year. Due to Mackinac Bridge construction, we will not be able to parade across the bridge as usual. Instead, we are working on other fun activities for the off-roading enthusiast.

Taking place on May 10-12, 2024 in St. Ignace and Drummond Island, MI, this annual event draws Jeep enthusiasts from around the Midwest to participate in Jeep activities in the Eastern Upper Peninsula including participation in a new Grand Stand event at the casino, likely including offroad challenges/obstacle course, ferry passes to Drummond Island for Saturday trail riding (including access to Turtle Ridge Off-road Park), commemorative gifts, and lots of vendors and sponsors selling Jeep products as well as other products. Registration for this event is now open. Register and find more details here: https://stignace.com/event/jeep-the-mac/

“This annual event is a great kickoff to your off-roading summer adventures featuring a parade, epic trail riding in Michigan’s premier off-road destination, and other fun activities,” said events director Quincy Ranville, “registration numbers have been increasing steadily and we’re hoping for another record- breaking year.”

This year, we are going to continue the Parade of Lights on Saturday evening. This will include staging at the Mackinac County Airport Saturday evening at dusk followed by a downtown parade with ALL your lights on so we encourage registrants to beef up lighting with lightbars and various after-market lighting options and decorations. There will prizes, awards, and other TBD activities!

Drummond Island will also be featuring a Mud Bog and Jeeps and Java event on Saturday. Registration will close Monday, April 29th at noon and there will be no onsite registration, so get registered today!
