The Great Lakes Resident Offer returns this Spring, available Sunday, May 10, through Wednesday, June 24, 2026, offering 20% off base room rates for residents of Great Lakes states. Guests also receive 10% off Legacy Water Sports boat rentals when booking through the Hotel.
Inside the Hotel, the Hearth Room Bar debuts an exclusive spring cocktail menu featuring fresh, seasonal flavors.
Retail & Waterfront Updates
The Resort’s retail experiences are being refreshed for Spring and Summer
The Walloon Village General Store is expanding its offerings with grab-and-go items, along with updated Walloon Lake merchandise and apparel.
At the Legacy Water Sports Walloon Lake Pro Shop, guests will find new spring apparel and lake-ready gear. Legacy will also open its new Torch Lake Pro Shop and Rental location in Alden, Michigan, this season, offering a full pro shop and premium rentals, including Nautique surf boats and Tahoe tri-toons.
Dining Across the Resort
Resort dining continues to offer both casual and upscale options for both Hotel and public guests.
At Barrel Back Restaurant, guests can enjoy a popular Happy Hour every Monday through Friday from 3pm to 6pm in a relaxed, lakeside setting.
Walloon Lake Inn continues its “3 for $60” dining experience, alongside early dining savings of 10% off all meals for those who order before 7pm.
Looking Ahead
The season continues with a full lineup of events, including the return of Legacy Water Sports’ Lake Charlevoix Dockside Series in Boyne City, featuring live music, boat demos, family games, and the Barrel Back Food Truck.
The Resort will also host its annual Fourth of July celebration, this year with a focus on the Nation’s 250th birthday. The Big Show Over the Little Village is a signature Walloon Lake tradition featuring a fireworks display over the water, live music, and holiday specials from local restaurants and shops.
