Featuring Big  Red Lighthouse to Benefit the Red Cross

Local artist Carolyn Stich is thrilled to announce the release of her 2024  holiday card, Light So Bright, a heartfelt design featuring Santa gazing into a snow globe  that captures Holland’s iconic Big Red Lighthouse illuminated in a brilliant beacon of light.  The card’s playful, seasonal message inside reads, “Big Red with your light so bright, won’t  you guide my sleigh tonight?”

For the past 24 years, Stich has partnered with the Holland Visitors Bureau to create an annual holiday card, each time contributing proceeds to a nonprofit organization in need.  This year proceeds from the Light So Bright holiday card will benefit the Red Cross, an  organization recognized for its vital community support.

“Carolyn’s unique artistic style has become a hallmark of the holiday season in Holland,”  shared Linda Hart, Executive Director of the Holland Visitors Bureau. “Her work not only  captures the spirit of our community but also embodies the heart of giving back. We’re  honored to continue this longstanding partnership and support the Red Cross.”

Light So Bright is available for purchase at the Holland Visitors Bureau (78 E 8th Street),  Carolyn Stich Studio (29 W 8th Street), and Rivers Ace Hardware (645 Douglas Avenue).  Cards are priced at $3 each or $18 for a package of 10, making them an ideal way to share  the spirit of Holland with loved ones near and far.

With Carolyn Stich’s signature style, beloved both locally and nationally, and a portion of  proceeds supporting the Red Cross, Light So Bright is more than a holiday card; it’s a  gesture of community, generosity, and festive joy.
