Gun Lake Casino Resort proudly salutes those who served in the U.S. military on Veteran’s
Day. To show our appreciation to the men and women who donned the uniform, GLCR is
offering all Veterans a free meal at Harvest Buffet or, a $20 dining credit to another outlet.
Non-veterans are also offered a discounted rate of $20 to Harvest Buffet.
GLCR is also introducing the Commemorative Challenge Coin, as a token of our
appreciation to each Veteran from the public, and any Team Member Veterans. The Coin
was designed by GLCR Security Director, Brett Miller and features the Seven Grandfather
Teachings and a salute to the U.S. Military. See image below.
The first recipient of the GLCR Commemorative Challenge Coin was presented to former
Command Master Chief of SEAL Team Six, Dave Cooper in August 2025. Mr. Cooper
commanded the raid which brought Osama bin Laden to justice, and the rescue mission of
Captain Richard Phillips.
Veterans can receive the Commemorative Challenge Coin, and free meal, by presenting
their military ID or DD214 as acceptable proof of service at the GLCR Rewards Center on
Veteran’s Day.
In addition, all day November 11 Veterans can enjoy free entry into GLCR’s luxurious
Wawyé Oasis, a 32,000 square-foot tropical glass atrium featuring pools, entertainment
and food & beverage services, in 80-degree comfort.
