Gun Lake Casino Resort (GLCR) today announced a rare Ultimate Texas
Hold’em progressive jackpot was paid over the past weekend. The $308,449 progressive
jackpot was won by a lucky guest from West Michigan playing the popular poker card game.
“Over the last five months we have paid out three separate jackpots over $300,000,
including two $500,000 slot jackpots, all won by loyal guests from West Michigan,” said
Brian Decorah, Senior VP/General Manager. “I’ve been in this business for over 30 years,
and I can’t remember a hotter streak of life-changing jackpots than this one!”
To win the Ultimate Texas Hold’em progressive jackpot, the player drew a royal flush made
from their two cards and the first 3 community cards (the flop). In this case, the player
drew ace, king, queen, jack and ten of diamonds.
Just two weeks ago a player from West Michigan won $551,587 on a Mega Dollar Storm
Wild Ninja slot machine. That was preceded by a $514,378 jackpot paid to a lucky local
guest in October 2025, who was also playing the Wild Ninja machine.
GLCR guests are truly on a hot streak as of late. In January 2026 an area guest won
$100,000 jackpot on Double Strike. This past Sunday, another local guest won $51,479 on
a slot machine.
Currently, two progressive jackpots are over $1 million. Baccarat is up to $1,174,400, while
all table games are at $1,400,000.
