Get ready for a festive weekend full of spooky activities as Grand Haven gears up for its annual Fall Festival and Trick-or-Treating event! On Saturday, October 26, 2024 in downtown & centertown Grand Haven offering fun and fright for all ages.


This year’s festival features not only the always-popular downtown trick-or-treating but also two thrilling haunted experiences: The Haunted Museum and the Elks Sensory Friendly Haunted House, offering fun Halloween excitement for all ages!


Event Details:

  • Downtown Trick-or-Treating:
    • From 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM, children and families are invited to trick-or-treat at local businesses along Washington Avenue. Participating businesses will be marked with festive window displays, welcoming ghouls, goblins, and little pumpkins alike!
  • The Haunted Museum:
    • Haunted Museum returns to the Tri-Cities Historical Museum for another year of spooky family fun! From 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM we will have indoor trick-or-treating, crafts, games, and more. Find out about Halloween traditions in the Victorian house or hear the tall tales of spooky legends of Michigan. Don't forget to wear your costume! 
  • Elks Sensor Friendly Haunted House:
    • For those looking for a scarier adventure, head to the Elks Lodge at 15 S. Third Street for the Elks Sensory Friendly Haunted House. The Lodge has been transformed into a terrifying maze of haunted halls and creepy surprises, sure to get your heart racing, but with the lights ON. The Elks Sensory-friendly Haunted House is open from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM. This is a family-friendly event, but an adult should accompany younger children.
  • Many fun activities happening all morning - including:
    • Bones About Town winners announced
    • Thriller Dance
    • WAWL Radio
    • Trick or Treating from (10:30 AM to 12:00 PM)
    • Haunted Cookie Decorating
    • Temporary Tattoo Station The Haunted Museum (10:00 AM – 2:00 PM)
    • Elks Sensory Friendly Haunted House (11:00 AM – 1:00 PM)
