One of the most anticipated Southwest Michigan summer events returns to St. Joseph this weekend. What began as a simple clothesline art fair in 1962 has grown into one of the Midwest's premier juried art festivals.

The celebration kicks off tonight with the Krasl Block Party from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m., where just $10 admission gives visitors the chance to meet exhibiting artists, enjoy live music, sample local wines, and savor delicious offerings from area food trucks while taking in the lakefront atmosphere.

The Art Fair continues Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and Sunday from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. More than 170 talented artists from across the country will showcase handcrafted jewelry, paintings, ceramics, woodwork, mosaics, leather goods, and much more.
