Whether or not you believe “Die Hard” is a Christmas movie, celebrate this iconic action film at Tibbits Opera House, on December 20 at 6:30 pm, complete with a Nakatomi Christmas Party at 5:30 pm!

Released in 1988, but set at Christmas time, “Die Hard” follows NYPD cop John McClane, who visits his wife Holly in Los Angeles, where she works for the Nakatomi Corporation. During the office Christmas party, a group of robbers take control of the building holding everyone hostage, except John. While they plan to perform a lucrative heist, John, unable to escape and with no immediate police response, is forced to take matters into his own hands. Starring Bruce Willis, Alan Rickman, and Bonnie Bedelia, “Die Hard” is considered among the greatest action films of all time.

Enjoy more than a movie! Just as the film opens with a party, Tibbits will be holding a Nakatomi Christmas Party, starting at 5:30 pm. Entry for the Christmas party will be $5 at the door, and a cash bar will be available. “Die Hard" is rated R for violence, language, some nudity, and drug use.

Tickets for the film are available by donation. The film begins at 6:30 pm, while the Nakatomi Christmas Party will begin at 5:30 pm. Secure your spot at Tibbits.org, by calling 517-278-6029, or by visiting the Tibbits administration office at 93 West Chicago St., Coldwater.
