Mission Point Resort, Mackinac Island’s cherished family-owned, award-winning resort invites you to revel in fall experiences and to celebrate Michigan’s fall flavors. Savor the cool, crisp air, the warm hues of amber leaves, and the serene, quieter atmosphere of the island while enjoying cozy moments with seasonal menus and drinks by the fire in the lobby.
Indulge in seasonal flavors across all three of Mission Point Resort's restaurants – Chianti, Round Island Kitchen, and Bistro on the Greens - each with just-launched fall menus. At Chianti, enjoy elevated dishes like the Duroc Pork with Traverse City Whiskey Jus or the Boeuf de Autumn featuring braised Wagyu Beef Short Rib.
Round Island Kitchen features Apple Cinnamon French Toast with Brioche bread, Michigan apples, crumble topping, and Michigan Bourbon maple syrup for breakfast. Fall flavor winners for dinner are the Butternut Squash Ravioli with arugula, dried Michigan cranberries, toasted almonds, sage, and brown butter or the Apple Cider Glazed Pork Porterhouse with root vegetable hash and golden raisin mostarda.
Bistro on the Greens, Mission Point’s al fresco dining will remain open if the weather allows and will feature Brûlée Pumpkin Pie, Apple Spiced Coffee Cake with brown butter sauce, and Chai Custard Bougatsa with Chupp’s honey.
Mission Point continues to blaze flavor trails featuring the island’s first Pumpkin Spiced Hummer and a Frozen Salted Caramel Apple Cider in addition to Orchard Fruit White Sangria and Mulled Wine Spice Red Sangria.

Check out Mission Point staff recommendations for favorite fall activities:
- Running the trails on the island, especially Tranquil Bluff Trail. Mark Ware, CEO
- Drinking Pumpkin Lattes from Boxwood Coffeeshop & Café. Andrea Crawford, Senior Manager of Conference Services
- From sunrise hikes to midnight northern lights, the sunrise side of the island is full of beauty and magic in the fall, Melissa Pankey, Director of Food & Beverage.
- Dining at Chianti! My favorite from the fall menu is the Coffee Honey Nut dessert! The salted caramel ice cream and salted spice caramel coffee mousse are *chef’s kiss*! Lexie Stypelkoski, PR & Marketing Coordinator
- My favorite thing about Fall on the Island is how the island slows down and gets that cozy, laid-back vibe. The autumn colors are amazing, and there is something special about enjoying the cool air and quiet moments by the lake before winter arrives. Celebrate the beauty of the island and the fall dining – it is the best time of the year. Leah Anderson, Senior Marketing & Content Manager
