Boyne Mountain Resort is rolling out three spectacular event weekends that celebrate the season's beauty this October. The resort's beloved 16th Annual Skitoberfest, October 3-5, and the fun-filled SkitoberDays, October 10-12 and October 17-19, promise unforgettable autumn experiences for visitors of all ages.
Skitoberfest 2025:
One of the resort's most unforgettable events returns October 3-5, bringing together the best of Oktoberfest with a mountain twist. This year's Skitoberfest features craft beers, authentic Bavarian cuisine, and live music throughout the weekend.
"What started as a simple way to celebrate fall and the up-coming ski season has grown into one of Boyne Mountain's most popular and lively events," said Kari Roder, Boyne Mountain’s director of marketing. “Every year, we layer new offerings like a pie-eating contest and live wood carving, on top of fan-favorites like stein hoisting, the Pond Pedal, and spouse-carrying.”
The weekend's highlights include:
- Live Music All Weekend: Featuring Jelly Roll Blues Band, M119 Band, Yankee Station, Sydni K, Charlie Reager, The Pink Violin Band, and Robert Yates
- Competitive Fun: Stein hoisting, keg throwing, spouse-carrying competitions, and pie-eating
- Bavarian Feast: Traditional German fare including bratwurst, currywurst, pork schnitzel, roasted chicken, Bavarian pretzels, and more
- Family Activities: Kids' zone with inflatables, face painting, pony rides, paintball, and more
- Winter Expo: Showcasing the newest ski equipment from brand favorites
- Scenic Adventures: SkyBridge Michigan and chairlift rides for prime fall color viewing
