The much-anticipated Bones About Town event will conclude this Saturday, October 26, with an exciting Fall Festival in downtown Grand Haven! The day will be packed with family friendly activities, culminating in Downtown Trick-or-Treating from 10:30 AM to Noon. Join us for a morning of fun, community spirit, and spooky festivities!
The day will kick off at 10:00 AM, when the Bones About Town contest winners will be announced live on 103.5 WAWL from their trailer parked Downtown. Following the announcement, enjoy a performance by the Spring Lake Dance Team at 10:15 AM at the corner of Washington Avenue and Second Street.
Starting at 10:30 AM, families are invited to join Downtown Trick-or-Treating along Washington Avenue, from Harbor Avenue to Third Street. In addition to trick-or-treating, other family-friendly activities will take place along Washington Avenue, including:
∙ Temporary Tattoo Station at SilverFire Gallery & Gifts
∙ Plus-Plus Make-A-Monster Activity at MACkite
∙ Haunted Cookie Decorating at Lakeside Eats
∙ Touch-A-Truck with the Grand Haven Department of Public Works
∙ City Farmer Hayride from Downtown to Centertown (Loading at First Reformed Church in Downtown and Ver Duin’s Inc. in Centertown)
∙ Touch-A-Tractor sponsored by The Bookman, located near Vintage Green & Guitar Haven in Centertown
In addition to these activities, a few other notable events will be happening in and around Downtown during the Fall Festival:
∙ Haunted Museum at Tri-Cities Historical Museum (10:00 AM to 2:00 PM)
∙ Sensory-Friendly Haunted House at the Elk’s Lodge (11:00 AM to 1:00 PM) ∙ Kid’s Halloween Party at Snug Harbor (12:00 PM to 3:00 PM)
