What happens when local artists, a historic museum, and a community radio station come together? Find out at Art at the Museum, a one-night pop-up art event, Saturday, March 7, from 5-8 pm at the Tri-Cities Historical Museum (200 Washington, Grand Haven).

Artists from the Lakeshore Visual Arts Collective (LVAC) will transform the museum’s second floor into a vibrant gallery showcasing work in jewelry, pottery, painting, photography, fiber arts, multimedia, glass, and more. Guests can enjoy live music by Elijah Russ and a cash bar while exploring the art.

A suggested $10 donation at the door and 10% of all artists’ sales will benefit the Tri-Cities Broadcasting Foundation, which operates local nonprofit radio station WAWL. The foundation supports local musicians, provides internships in broadcast arts, and delivers local news, sports, and weather.

“Each year Art at the Museum reminds us how deeply art connects us,” says LVAC President Jane Stoepker. “We’re proud to celebrate our regional artists once again and to partner with WAWL in a way that makes a meaningful impact beyond the gallery walls.”

Tri-Cities Broadcasting Foundation president Eric Kaelin adds, “Art at the Museum is a celebration of creativity and generosity. We’re excited to collaborate with LVAC again and to see the community come together in support of WAWL’s important mission.”

Art at the Museum is made possible by the generous support of local sponsors and the dedication of LVAC members who transform spaces into unique, one-night art experiences that connect artists, collectors, nonprofits, and businesses.
