Something’s boiling on the waterfront—and it’s not just the fish! The Michigan Maritime Museum’s beloved 23rd Annual Fish Boil Fundraiser is back and better than ever on Saturday, July 12 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Join us for an unforgettable evening of lakeside traditions, delicious food, and lively community spirit.

With the Museum’s newly expanded waterfront campus and scenic boardwalk, guests will enjoy a classic Great Lakes meal served with unbeatable harbor views. This signature summer event helps fuel the Museum’s mission to celebrate, preserve, and promote the rich maritime heritage of Michigan’s Great Lakes and inland waterways.

Fish boils have been part of Great Lakes culture since the early 1900s, and the Museum is proud to keep the heritage of this tradition alive. Guests will be treated to an authentic boil featuring lake fish, potatoes, and onions—all finished with melted butter, lemon, a fresh roll, coleslaw, and a sweet scoop of ice cream for dessert.

In addition to a hearty meal, enjoy a 50/50 raffle, cash bar, and classic lawn games. It’s a fun, family-friendly event that brings together locals and visitors alike.

“This event is a favorite for so many,” says Executive Director Bailey Sisoy-Moore. “It’s a fabulous way to connect with our community, support the Museum, and honor the maritime traditions that define our region.”

The Museum extends its heartfelt thanks to this year’s generous community supporters, including: Star of the Lake Masonic Lodge, South Pier Creamery, Phoenix Street Café, Barden’s Farm Market, Clementine’s, Bob’s Processing, My Town Ace Hardware, and South Haven Public Schools.

Tickets are available at the door:
