The highly anticipated 2025 Krasl Art Fair on the Bluff, presented by 1st Source Bank Wealth Advisory Services, is fast approaching, offering a captivating blend of art, culture, and community. Set against the stunning backdrop of St. Joseph's shoreline, this year's event promises an unforgettable experience for art enthusiasts and visitors alike.

 

Taking place on July 12 & 13, 2025, the Krasl Art Fair on the Bluff will feature 172 artists from across the nation, showcasing their talents in a variety of mediums, including painting, sculpture, ceramics, jewelry, glass, and more. Whether established or emerging, these artists are set to make this year's fair a truly remarkable event.

Here are some things to know before the 63rd Krasl Art Fair on the Bluff:

  •  2025 is the 63rd Krasl Art Fair on the Bluff. Celebrate with volunteers, staff, and the participating artists at The Block Party on Friday, July 11, from 5 – 9 pm on Krasl Art Center’s Oval Lawn. Learn more about tickets, food trucks, and bands here.
  • The Art Fair Guidebook is in your copy of MailMax! You can browse the guidebook online here or grab a physical copy at the entrances throughout Lake Bluff Park.
  • Krasl Art Fair on the Bluff will be a non-ticketed event. However, donations are encouraged! Donations support the event itself, as well as the year-round work of Krasl Art Center to provide free and accessible art exhibitions, programs, and events.
  • You can still purchase your VIP Packages! New this year, we offer two types of VIP Packages. The first one is the Music & Lounge Pass that includes access to the Block Party and all weekend access to the VIP Lounge. Our second package is our VIP Collectors' Experience Pass that includes access to the Block Party, breakfast at Schu's with the artists, access to the 9 am early shopping hours on Saturday, and all weekend access to the VIP Lounge.   • The Art Fair is great for kids! Some artists participate in the Children's Art Purchase Program (CAPP) - look for the orange signs to discover artwork under $10. Learn more about visiting with children here.
  • Krasl Art Center has several exhibitions on view. Stop by for free art experiences and discover resources to explore more public art, including a free art-making project! In The Galleries the exhibition Generation to Generation: Conversing with Kindred Technologies and in the Lab, Jack Lehtinen's Poking Fun is on view! More information can be found online here.
  • Lake Bluff Park is a smoke-free, human-walking (or wheelchair) only zone. City ordinance prohibits all pets, cigarettes, scooters, bikes, skateboards, and rollerblades within the gated areas of Lake Bluff Park during the Art Fair.   • Through support from Visit Southwest Michigan, a FREE shuttle service will be available for guests of the 2025 Art Fair on the Bluff. The 40-passenger shuttle will be operational on Saturday, July 12, from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm, and on Sunday, July 13, from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm, with a scheduled driver break at 12:30 pm each day. Free guest parking, shuttle pick up, and drop off will be available from the main lot at St. Joseph High School, 2521 Stadium Drive. Additionally, Visit Southwest Michigan is running a Shop & Shore Trolley in Downtown St Joseph to easily get around the Downtown area! For more information on the Trolley, visit this link: here. Paid parking supporting additional non-profits can be found at Trinity Lutheran and Horizon Bank. Free Public Parking lots are available at the Courthouse, across from City Hall, and at the Box Factory for the Arts.
  • The Art Fair is ADA-accessible. Accessible parking is located at the northeast corner of Broad Street and Lake Boulevard and can be accessed via the alley (northbound traffic only).
  • Bring your appetites! In addition to the St. Joe Farmers Market being open on Broad Street on Saturday only, food trucks will be placed throughout the Art Fair.
