Children and the young at heart will delight in the holidays of yesteryear during the Of Christmas Past event at Historic Charlton Park (HCP) on Saturday and Sunday, December 12-13, 2026. HCP’s turn-of-the-century village and museum will be staffed by volunteers and adorned with festive decorations. Visit with St. Nicholas who has plenty of candy canes for good boys and girls. In celebration of the season, guests are encouraged to make holiday crafts, including candle making and yarn dolls. Traditional food and drink samples will be available throughout the village, such as wassail, roasted chestnuts, cinnamon & sugar apples and popcorn. Holiday music will ring throughout the Village. Event admission cost is $5.00 for ages 13+; children 12 and under are free. Parking is free.
