Grades 2-5
We take a tour to visit the neighborhood where the Wizard of Oz was written and learn the backstory of the famous book and Movie. We watch dramatic portions of the film with a movie expert and discuss why it’s so great! We make OZ action characters like the Tin Man, Cowardly Lion, Scarecrow or Gilda the Good Witch to go in our dioramas. We travel to the kitchen and make yellow brick road cookies!
