Birds and Coffee chats are held from 10 to 11 a.m. on the second Wednesday of each month, via Zoom. The online chats are free, but registration is required to access meeting details.

Upcoming dates and species of focus include:

May 8 — This month’s chat will feature guest Gail Walter of the Kalamazoo Audubon Society, who will speak about potential threats to birds, including window collisions, lighting, and more, as well as ways to mitigate those threats.

June 12 — This month, we are teaming up with Kalamazoo Area Wild Ones to explore the benefits of incorporating native plants into our landscape. Native plants play a crucial role in supporting bird and pollinator habitats.
