Critter Barn – Spring Fling

With the spring season in full swing, it’s also the season of new life on the farm! Starting Monday, April 3rd through April 8th, the Critter Barn in Zeeland will be hosting their Spring Fling event to let you meet the new babies around the farm. Chicks, bunnies, kids, lambs, ducklings, and more will all be ready to meet you and your family! Entry is $6 a person, and this is a super great way to kick off spring by petting and feeding the adorable Critter Barn residents.

Art of Cookery – April Cooking Classes & Events

If you’re looking to learn a new skill this spring, Art of Cookery in Whitehall has some great cooking classes and events taking place this April. You can take classes about how to make a variety of cuisines, including pastas, pastries, chicken, tamales, and more. There’s even a “Rock Your Pot  – Instant Pot Cooking” class at the end of the month! Plus, you may even get to bring some of your creations home to enjoy. Maple Row Sugarhouse – Michigan Maple Festival

And finally, with spring’s warmer weather, we’re getting into Maple Syrup season around West Michigan! There’s still time to visit Maple Row Sugarhouse in Jones (down near Three Rivers) for their annual “Michigan Maple Syrup Festival” running both today and tomorrow. This festival celebrates everything great about Maple Syrup, and has a full slate of activities, including sugarhouse tours, a petting zoo, breakfast available all day, and even lumberjack camp! You’ll of course find delicious maple treats to sample as well. It’s sure to be a great weekend for the festival!
