Bundy Hill Offroad in Jerome will be partnering with Jeep Nation Michigan to help raise donations for Toys for Tots December 5th. Each donation of at least $5.00 (gift or cash) will receive a $5.00 discount to Bundy Hill. The donation collections boxes will be located in the office and in the diner next door.
St. Joseph is making downtown brighter by wrapping 84 trees with new lights and flipping the switch to Light Up the Bluff with holiday light displays. Come take a walk at night as often as you can during December and fill your heart with peace and happiness. Walk through the Window Wonderland, December 4th, 7:00 pm to 8:30 pm, in Victorian-era downtown St. Joseph to get into the holiday spirit. Dozens of storefronts will decorate their windows to entice you inside to find unique selections and special discounts.

Head to Saugatuck to travel back in time and brighten your holiday season with a self-guided tour of the Felt Mansion, featuring more than 25 decorated Christmas trees and 5,000 lights. Completed in 1928, the Felt Estate recalls a lavish period in history with its extravagant 25-room mansion, a carriage house, historic chapel, and expansive grounds. Self-guided tours begin December 7th and continue through December 30th.
Add some science and math to the kids’ winter break! Stop by the Pierce Cedar Creek Institute in Hastings and pick up a Winter Break STEAM Grab & Go Activity Kit. These are free kits of fun, hands-on STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math) activities. Kits are available December 19th through January 3rd.
Central West Michigan Holiday Fun
Zeeland is shining bright for the Holiday Season. Downtown is fully lit with Christmas Lights and a 20′ Christmas Tree in the center of downtown.
The Critter Barn farm in Zeeland will be decorated for Christmas, and open for visiting. The annual Live Nativity will be available via a video stream to enjoy from the comfort of your home starting December 11th.
Holland Civic Center Place is excited to bring the community “A Virtually Celtic Christmas,” a virtual concert being streamed on Sunday, December 6th at 7:00 pm. Filmed at the National Opera House of Ireland, this festive holiday concert features top-class Irish singers and musicians. Tickets to the live stream are only available online here.
Allow JW Marriott Grand Rapids to host your holiday celebration this year in their newly renovated event spaces. From the ballroom to the restaurant Margaux, JW Marriott is able to accommodate intimate gatherings or grandiose parties all while allowing for 6-feet of social distancing. Deck the halls this season by enjoying cheerful holiday songs on the Grand Rapids Public Museum’s Mighty Wurlitzer Theater organ, performed by internationally acclaimed theatre organist Lance Luce on Friday, December 18th. The Mighty Wurlitzer Organ concerts will be live streamed from the GRPM’s Meijer Theater and will be available to watch via a Zoom link. Virtual tickets are available online. Tickets are also available to attend in person. Limited capacity and masks are required for the in-person experience.
Experience the wonder of the holidays at Frederik Meijer Gardens & Sculpture Park in Grand Rapids with the annual Metro Health Christmas & Holiday Traditions exhibition, on display through January 3, 2021. 46 trees and displays representing countries and cultures from across the globe will be set up, as well as the enchanting Railway Garden and the holiday wonderland that encompasses it. This year, Meijer Gardens celebrates handcrafted traditions and explores the care that goes into creating these treasured traditions by hand.

When traveling up and down the Lakeshore this holiday season, tune into WGHN-FM 92.1 for the very best in Christmas music. WGHN will be commercial free starting Christmas Eve day through midnight Christmas day, and you can enjoy your holiday favorites through their streaming services.
The Muskegon Museum of Art’s annual holiday event, the Festival of Trees is making some adjustments this year to spread the holiday spirit into downtown. In collaboration with downtown businesses and organizations, a new version of the event – Festival of Wreaths: a wreath walk event that people can enjoy from the sidewalk or street – will be held through December 6th
Get in the spirit of the season with “Holidays in Lakeside,” a fun family event featuring visits with Santa, carriage rides, a bake sale, tree lighting, holiday shopping, and a myriad of other merry making activities in the Lakeside District in Muskegon.
This year’s Circle of Trees in Muskegon will be held virtually on December 6th. Trees will be decorated in North Muskegon’s Walker Park with a tree lighting ceremony through Facebook live.
The annual Christmas Walk in Newaygo on Friday, December 4th, starts with a tree lighting ceremony at 6:00pm, decorated with handmade ornaments from the students at NES. Stroll the streets with hot cocoa while browsing the area shops & restaurants for specials. Listen to Christmas carols, smell chestnuts roasting, watch an ice sculpture being carved, take a horse and wagon ride, and much more! The ChoiceOne Bank St. Nick Kick, a family-friendly 10k/5k run and 1 mile walk, will be held virtually on Saturday, December 5th.
The First Annual Festival of Wreaths will be taking place in Ludington December 4-12th. A week-long, online auction will be held, culminating with a December 12th reception, when participants can place their final bids. All proceeds will benefit art programming in the Ludington community.
If you have a sweet tooth, you won’t want to miss the Ludington Cookie Walk on December 12th. Visit downtown businesses from 1:00-5:00 pm, where friendly retailers will be waiting for you with a delicious treat at each stop. Cost is $20, and tickets can be purchased online.
This Christmas, see the story of Jesus’ birth come to life at Star of Wonder: Journey to the Manger, December 11th-13th at CranHill in Rodney. This drive-thru live nativity is complete with actors, animals, lights, narration, and refreshments to follow. Enjoy this free event with the whole family, as you remember the true story of Christmas. Donations will be accepted to support CranHill’s Camper Scholarship Fund. After driving through the live nativity performance, you are welcome to enjoy Christmas cookies, coffee, and hot cocoa. The Barn Store will also be open for ice cream, snacks, and gifts.

Traverse City is ready to celebrate the season! Downtown Traverse City will have its holiday lights and holiday tree up to help your holiday spirit as you stroll through downtown. Choose your favorite decorated storefront window, and play an eye-spy scavenger hunt, during the Walking In A Window Wonderland window contest. Find all of the hidden items in the windows in downtown Traverse City and enter to win a downtown shopping spree. Ballots will be available at participating stores the weekend of December 4th and are due by December 6th at the red mailbox at the Traverse City Downtown Development Authority office.
