Things to Do, Places to Go – September 10, 2021

As we begin turning the corner into the fall season, we’re sharing great activities in Southwest Michigan with our friends from SuperHits 103.7 COSY-FM!

Paw Paw Wine & Harvest Festival

Kicking off today, you can catch the Paw Paw Wine & Harvest Festival, happening September 10th-12th in Paw Paw! There’s lots going on at the festival this year, with wine tastings and tours, a 5k, the grape stomping competition, kayak race, and more. They’ll have four different stages with entertainment, as well as carnival rides, fireworks, a parade, and free trolley transportation to help you get around the festival.

Lakeshore Harvest Ride

The Lakeshore Harvest Ride is a cool Michigan bike tour that lets you see, touch, smell, and taste the riches of the season. Held on Saturday, September 18, the Lakeshore Harvest Ride guides you through the rolling countryside of Southwest Michigan. You can visit wineries, cider mills, family farms, orchards, and art studios along the way. There are individual bike routes for every rider, ranging from 15 to 67 miles in length, and proceeds support the construction of the Blue Star Trail.

Gull Meadow Farms

Gull Meadow Farms in Richland near Kalamazoo is a great place to enjoy fall with the whole family. They have over 20 acres of apple orchards, pumpkin patch, and family friendly activities, including a new corn maze each year. They have some fun theme weekends coming up as well, with Grandparents Weekend this Saturday and Sunday, and Princess & Superhero weekend next week.
