Needing some suggestions for Halloween Weekend? We’re sharing about a “Boos Cruise” and Kids parade in Saugatuck, and Flick or Treat in St. Joe. Listen to all the details in our conversation with SuperHits 103.7 COSY-FM.

Saugatuck/Douglas Costume Parade & Contest

If you’ve got some great costumes you want to show off, tomorrow, October 30, is your chance with the Saugatuck/Douglas “Kids and Pets Costume Contest and Parade!” Join in the parade line-up starting at 11:30am at Wicks Park, and steps off at noon. Stick around after the parade for crafts, refreshments, sidewalk chalk art, downtown trick-or-treating, and the costume contest judging. They’ll be awarding prizes in four different categories: for cutest costume, funniest, scariest, and most creative.

“Flick or Treat” at Krasl Art Center (moved to Saturday because of rain)

If you’re looking for some Halloween fun on Saturday, October 30, Krasl Art Center in St. Joseph is holding their “Flick or Treat” event you can check out! They’ll be showing short silent films outside on the lawn at 8pm, and you can stop by starting at 7pm to paint a pumpkin! Bring your own chairs and blankets, and it’s just a $2 suggested donation, and they’ll have popcorn, coffee, and hot chocolate available.

“Boo’s Cruise” on Star of Saugatuck

The Star of Saugatuck has a special cruise this weekend for Halloween: It’s their annual “Boo’s Cruise” that’s taking place on Saturday, October 30. It’s a 90-minute Halloween-themed cruise on the Kalamazoo River and Lake Michigan, featuring drink specials and a costume contest. It is for ages 21 and up, and you’ll want to call the Star of Saugatuck soon to reserve your tickets, as there is limited space.
