Let’s do the Time Warp again! Dogs in Costumes! Boo at the Barn! So many great events are taking place this October in West Michigan, and we’ve shared some highlights with our friends from SuperHits 103.7 COSY-FM! Check out all the details below.

The Rocky Horror Show at The Barn Theatre School in Augusta

If you’re a fan of the “Rocky Horror Picture Show,” you can catch live performances of “Rocky Horror” at the Barn Theatre School in Augusta both this weekend (October 22nd, 23rd, and 24th) and next weekend (October 29th, 30th, and 31st). Dedicated Rocky Horror Fans are encouraged to show up in their best costumes to dance along to “The Time Warp” and the rest of the classic music from this production. You can get tickets for Friday, Saturday, or Sunday this weekend and next weekend.

Dog Costume Contest at River Saint Joe Brewery in Buchanan

Ok, I love this one: This coming Thursday, October 28th, River Saint Joe Brewery in Buchanan is hosting a Dog Costume Contest for Halloween. You can try to win the “Best Canine Costume,” or the “Best Owner & Dog Costume Combo.” It’s $5 to enter, and the entry fees will be donated to a non-profit dog rescue. The costume judging will start at 6:15pm, and it’s going to be an outdoor event, so keep an eye on the weather for this one.

“Boo at the Barn” at the Critter Barn in Zeeland

Halloween is already next weekend, and you can celebrate with “Boo at the Barn” next Saturday! You can visit the Critter Barn in Zeeland on October 30th for Halloween decorations, costumes, and candy, and of course visits with all of Critter Barn’s animals! Wear your costume for special savings, and check out their “Spook-tacular Barn Trail.” Admission is just $5 per person, or $20 for your family of five or more.
