We’re kicking off the month of October with Fall Fest, Magic Tours, and free West Michigan attractions! Check out our interview with SuperHits 103.7 COSY-FM to hear all the fun details!
Fall Festival at Cornwell’s Turkeyville
Cornwell’s Turkeyville in Marshall is such a fun place to visit during Fall! You can visit them this Saturday for their Fall Festival and last outdoor craft fair of the season, plus an antique tractor pull. Turkeyville’s Haunted Adventure also opens this weekend, with a creepy hayride, haunted barn, corn maze, and spooky train ride for a whole afternoon of Fall fun!
October is Reciprocal Member Month at these Six Area Attractions
This is great, when local businesses work together to get people out and about! So for the whole month of October, six attractions in the Kalamazoo area are opening their doors to people who have a membership to ANY of these locations. So if you have a membership at Binder Park Zoo, the Gilmore Car Museum, the Kalamazoo Institute of Arts, the Air Zoo, the Kellogg Bird Sanctuary and Manor House, or the Kalamazoo Nature Center, you can use that membership for free visits to all of those places I just mentioned, all month long, so a really neat way to get out and check out something new.
This Month: Haunting History of Magic Tours
The American Museum of Magic in Marshall is getting into the spirit of Halloween with their “Haunting History of Magic Tours” coming up this month. You can join them for a tour by candlelight, where you’ll hear true stories of deadly stage accidents, magicians buried alive, and the history of seances. These haunting tours will take place on October 16th and 30th, and are for ages 13 and up.
