Things to Do, Places to Go: June 11th Edition

Three Rivers Water Fest, Tibbits Summer Theatre and the SC4A’s latest performance are all on the list of Things to Do, Places to Go with Paul Layendecker and Courtney Sheffer with the West Michigan Tourist Association!

Three Rivers 64th Annual Water Festival

  • Three Rivers is holding their 64th Annual Water Festival next weekend! The festival kicks off Thursday the 17th and runs through Saturday the 19th, located in beautiful Scidmore Park, right where the three rivers converge. The festival has something for everyone, whether you want to check out the rides and food on the midway, grab a prime spot for the parade, catch an outdoor movie, play in the Kids Zone, check out the Classic Car Show, or stick around for live music and fireworks to close out the festival on Saturday night.

Tibbits Summer Theatre presents “The Best of Broadway”: June 16-25

  • If you’re ready to catch up on some of your missed live theatre, Tibbits Summer Theatre in Coldwater is presenting “The Best of Broadway” this month! So they’re running these performances at a really neat outdoor venue right in Coldwater, and this show is a lively revue of Broadway’s greatest hits, so they’ll be performing songs from “Showboat” to “Phantom” to “Hamilton” and everything in between! You can catch Tibbits’ “Best of Broadway” from June 16th to 18th, or 22nd through 25th.

SC4A “Shout!” Musical Outdoor Performance

  • The Saugatuck Center for the Arts has a whole line-up of outdoor theatre ready to go for this summer, and it’s kicking off the season with “SHOUT! The Mod Musical.” “Shout” will take you back to the Sixties with some fabulous fashions and great dance moves, plus songs you know like “Son of a Preacher Man” and “Downtown.” “Shout” kicks off June 30th at the Saugatuck Center for the Arts, and has dates through July 11th, so you can plan ahead and grab your tickets early.
