Things to Do, Places to Go – January 7, 2022

Family Day at Krasl Art Center (St. Joseph)

If you’re ready to get out of the house after all these snow days, Saturday, January 8 is Family Day at the Krasl Art Center in St. Joseph! Their project for this weekend is Printmaking, and you can get messy and learn the process to make some of your own artwork! It’s a free activity, but you will need to register ahead of time to reserve your spot. If you can’t make it tomorrow, they have a free Family Day the second Saturday of each month for you to check out!

Live Music at The Livery (Benton Harbor)

If you’re looking for somewhere to hit up for a date night or a night out on the town, The Livery brewery in Benton Harbor is a fun place to visit this month for beer, food, and music. They have live music scheduled every weekend, with everything from rock and roll to bluegrass. They’ve got a new food menu rolling out soon, and 18 different beers on tap that you can sample to find a new favorite.

23rd Annual Chili Cook-Off at Fenn Valley Winery (Fennville)

One of my favorite winter foods is chili, and Fenn Valley Vineyards in Fennville is celebrating with their 23rd Annual Chili Cookoff the weekend of January 15! If you’ve got an awesome chili recipe, you can enter it in one of the four categories to be judged, or you can RSVP as an attendee and just enjoy an afternoon of enjoying delicious chili and wine.
