Things to Do, Places to Go – January 21, 2022

A local Camper & RV Show, a little taste of ‘home,’ and Groundhog Shadowfest! In this edition of “Things to Do and Places to Go”, we’re highlighting all these great events happening in West Michigan!

Grand Rapids Camper, Travel & RV Show

If you’re ready to start planning your camping trips for this summer, you can check out ShowSpan’s Grand Rapids Camper, Travel, & RV show all weekend long at DeVos Place! They’ve got tons of campers and RVs set up to explore, and plenty of campgrounds and trip ideas as well. We actually have a West Michigan travel booth there as well, so make sure you stop by and say hi if you’re at the show!

Little Taste of Home

Everyone could use a little comfort food at the end of a long week, and the chefs at Tabor Hill Restaurant & Winery in Buchanan are up for the job! Next Friday, January 28th, is the first dinner in their “Little Taste of Home” series, where each month they will be bringing in some homemade classics from different parts of the country, kicking off with MidWest classics, featuring dishes like Potato & Cheese Pierogis, Sweet Corn Fritter, and Kansas City Smoked Ribs, all of which are guaranteed to make you feel right at home.

Groundhog Shadowfest

You can get ready to see when we’ll be saying goodbye to the winter season by heading to the “Groundhog Shadowfest” in Charlevoix next Saturday, January 29th. Only four days before Punxsutawney Phil will check for his shadow, this free event will celebrate the best of winter with a bundle of fun activities to get you outdoors and enjoying everything that winter has to offer in the Charlevoix area.
