Things to Do, Places to Go – December 3, 2021

‘Tis the season for festive activities and we’ve highlighted three great ones happening in West Michigan this weekend! Listen for all the details in our conversation with SuperHits 103.7 COSY-FM!

Festival of Wreaths, Muskegon

This weekend is your last chance to catch this year’s Festival of Wreaths in Muskegon, where you can take a “wreath walk” to view designer wreaths on display throughout downtown. A Wreath Walking Guide is available at the Muskegon Museum of Art Store, as well as at participating businesses. The wreaths and decor will also be available to bid on during the festival in an online auction, with proceeds supporting programming at the Muskegon Museum of Art.

Christmas Cookie Wine Pairing Event, Fennville

Christmas cookies are a special treat of the holiday season, and Modales Wines in Fennville is hosting a Holiday Wine & Cookie Pairing Event this Saturday, December 4th from 11am-6pm. The guided 45 minute wine tasting includes 5 of Modales’ favorite holiday wines paired with freshly baked cookies. Tickets are still available, but you’ll want to reserve them before they sell out!

Reindog Holiday Parade, St. Joseph

St. Joseph is holding their annual Reindog Holiday parade on Saturday, and it’s such a fun way to welcome the season! The parade kicks off at 3pm and features dressed up pets and their owners, all in holiday garb. You’ll see all kinds of costumes, with everything from “Santa Bernards” to “Reindeer Rottweilers.” Santa himself will be making an appearance at the parade, and kids can share their wish lists with him at Santa’s House outside of the St. Joe Today Welcome Center from 4:30-7pm.
