The Livery’s Annual “Funk Fest”

Check out the 9th Annual Funk Fest – a celebration of wild & sour ales – at the Livery on April 20th – 22nd in downtown Benton Harbor! The event at the brewery will feature specialty beer tapping’s, firkins, a bottle release, and funky food! 

The release party will feature classic brews, including beer that the brewery has not produced in over 10 years. This year’s event has taken a collaborative turn, as The Livery will partner with NOBO Provisions to benefit The City of Benton Harbor Parks & Recreation Department in an effort to improve the city’s downtown area. 

As a special “420” event, the national touring band “Big Something” will hit The Livery stage Thursday evening at 8 pm! The rest of the weekend will be full of food specialties, “real ale” or cask firkin tappings, and live music.

Earth Day Events around West Michigan! 

Celebrate Earth Day around West Michigan this Saturday! In South Haven, you can show the beautiful beaches some love by helping with the “Beach Clean Up Effort” at 10 AM. Bags and gloves are provided for the clean-up effort, and a celebration will follow at the Black River Tavern when the work is done! Another way to Celebrate Earth Day is with a visit to the W.K. Kellogg Bird Sanctuary! Admission is free on Saturday, April 22nd, and walking around the beautiful park is the perfect way to enjoy nature! Another event is at Blandford Nature Center’s Earth Day Celebration, where there will be a seed swap, scavenger hunt, and fun hikes. These fun events at the nature center will be occurring between 11 am to 3 pm!
