Next week is spring break, and the Michigan Maritime Museum right in South Haven has some great family-friendly activities taking place throughout the first week of April! The Museum will feature different workshops and activities that will perfectly combine fun and education, like art workshops, water safety with the coast guard, and sessions on invasive species & The Great Lakes. Each day is a different theme and features a variety of amazing collaborators, and all Spring Break activities are included with general admission to the Museum
Another great spring break event to check out is Spring Fling at the Critter Barn in Zeeland! Spring means new life, and visiting the Critter Barn from April 3-8 means you’ll get to meet the farm’s young Ducklings, Chicks, Bunnies, Lambs, Kids, and Calves! You might even get to witness a live birth! It’s a great way to get out and let your kiddos engage with the adorable animals up close this spring.
In Berrien Springs, The Great BCHA Bunny Hunt returns for its second year, with 24 goody-filled rabbits waiting to be taken home by you. Starting at 11am this Sunday, April 2nd, visitors will have one hour to find one of the hidden rabbit tokens inside the History Center at the Courthouse Square. Those who find a token will then be able to exchange it for candy and small toys. While this family friendly event is free, RSVPs will be required, so be sure to contact the History Center at the Courthouse Square today.
