Craft beer lovers, this one’s for you! The Michigan Brewers Guild Winter Beer Festival is returning this weekend, from 1-6pm on Saturday, February 25 at LMCU Ballpark in Comstock Park. Celebrate winter with hundreds of Michigan beers from all around the state, plus live music from local bands, ice sculpture and carving demonstrations, and cozy firepits. Guests must be 21+, and receive 15 tasting tokens with the price of admission, to try delicious beers from breweries like Short’s, Archival Brewing, Waypost, Founders, and more. Tickets can be purchased online, you won’t want to miss this great outdoor event!

You can celebrate and meet local Makers at the 4th annual Makers Ball in St. Joseph on Saturday, March 4th! The ball takes place at The Inn At Harbor Shores and is a celebration of the Southwestern Michigan Tourist Council’s Makers Trail. Tickets to the ball include a souvenir sampling glass, 10 sampling tickets, a live dj, and more! You’ll get to try samples from locations like Silver Harbor Brewery, 12 Corners Winery, and Baroda Founders Wine Cellar. You can even make a getaway of the weekend by booking one of the overnight packages at The Inn at Harbor Shores! For those who love wine, Fenn Valley Winery is currently offering extended wine tasting tours of their production facility in Fennville. These technical tours run nearly 2 hours long and have been designed to help take the mystery out of making world class wine. You’ll receive detailed descriptions of wine making and grape growing, and have plenty of opportunities to ask questions.
