Description
Travel Information Services has now been part of the tourism industry for over 40 years! Starting in 1976, Chuck Mires started out distributing his canoe livery business brochure locally and then regionally. As he progressed with taking other local brochures throughout the area, it grew rapidly as more and more businesses drew interest into promoting outside just their local areas.Eventually selling the canoe business and stepping away from a full-time teaching job to focus on the growing distribution business. Today the family-owned business is still located at the original locations with its headquarters in Roscommon and another warehouse in Plymouth, Michigan.
