Poncho's Pond was opened July 1, 1988 by owners Bob & Carol Smith.After many hard years of work, Poncho's Pond has grown to be one of the top rated privately owned parks in Michigan and the United States.We again received a 5W rating this year by Woodall's.This put Poncho's Pond in the top 1% of privately owned campgrounds in the United States!is76-1314902173-73857With the completion of an additional 69 luxury sites in June of 2003, Poncho's is bigger and better than ever, having 226 site to choose from.The park is situated on 28 grassy acres. Located in the center of the park is a beautiful 3 acre pond stocked with fish so kids can enjoy hours of fun trying to catch the BIG one.Paddleboats are for rent to enjoy a cruise around the pond.On those warm days you can relax in our pools and spa.One pool is for family swimming and kids.The other pool and spa are for "adults only", 18 years and older.On the cooler days, you can enjoy our Indoor Pool and hot tub! There are three shower houses, 2 Laundromats, and a video game room.For the young at heart we have 2 basketball hoops, volleyball, horseshoes, bike rental, and a playground area.Throughout the season you will find many activities and events to keep everyone happy.From our Chili Dinner cook-off in April, to our BIG Halloween party in October, we have special events planned for all ages.
