Labor Day is the last day that the Riverfront Zip Line will be open on the downtown riverfront in Allegan. This year, the zip line will be dismantled and moved – the good news is that an all new outdoor zip attraction is coming to Allegan Event. If families are looking for something fun, active, and adventurous to do together on the Labor Day holiday, both the Riverfront Zip Line and Allegan Event’s indoor adventure center / outdoor maze will be open! Labor Day weekend beckons for a road trip, an opportunity to discover the quaint communities of Coldwater, Bronson, Quincy, and Union City with a getaway to West Michigan’s Coldwater Country. High Caliber Karting & Entertainment is excited to be inviting the car community back to their Meridian Mall location in East Lansing for a car show that celebrates everything high octane. The All Crafts Fair will be held in the beautiful Stanley Johnston Park in South Haven, MI for two days over Labor Day weekend. Over 150 unique craft vendors will be selling their hand-made items, in addition to fine arts. The air will be filled with the delicious smell of food, from concessions staples such as elephant ears, kettle corn, and roasted almonds, to the more substantial wood-fired pizzas, wraps, brats, gyros, and BBQ pork. Come shop the beautiful art, crafts, jewelry, and delicious food!
Take a trip over to St. Joseph this holiday weekend for the Lake Bluff Art Fair and Antiques. This eclectic craft fair, held in picturesque Lake Bluff Park, offers a variety of handcrafted goods. With over 50 local vendors, there’s something for everyone – anything from home decor and furniture to jewelry, candles and more!

Central Michigan Events
Party on the Milwaukee Clipper in Muskegon on September 3rd. Free for members, and $10 for non-members. Food will be sold, for $5 you can get a GNL hot dog, a bag of chips, and a soda. This event will run from 7:30 to 10:00, there will be a lot going on.
Join the Labor Day Bridge Walk starting at 9am in Grand Haven, an annual 3.5-mile community walk that is designed to bring people together. Free for all to attend. Although only about 3.5 miles compared to the 5 mile Mackinac Bridge Walk, the event is designed to get people physically active.

September means it’s salmon season! Join the Pere Marquette River Lodge, an Orvis endorsed fly fishing outfitter, for their September Salmon School from September 2nd-4th.
